The Berrien County Board of Commissioners last week approved a resolution asking the Governor and Michigan Legislature to consider a disaster declaration for the entire Great Lakes shoreline in Michigan.
The Great Lakes Coalition recently sent a letter to the International Joint Commission urging them to take action NOW to alleviate high lake levels.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is responding to shoreline erosion due to high water levels in the Great Lakes by hosting a webinar on November 12, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (EST).
